Random Writers

There are times when planning and forethought take center stage. This is not one of those times.

Random Writers is a collection of bloggers, mostly new or novice writers, coming together to help make a difference. The idea was born of the earnest desire among four friends to write more. After some brainstorming and collaboration, a list of topics was developed and schedule developed.

Although the genesis of this effort was mostly random, there definitely is/will be a lot of thought and effort put into the words posted here. The overall idea is to use writing as a vehicle to flesh out thoughts and ideas about some of the issues that tend to weigh us down both individually and collectively.

Over time, Random Writers also hopes to bring together a community of bloggers that share a passion for positively affecting change with their words. The goal is to have a group of writers that can quickly mobilize and help get the word out through their respective blogs about issues and events that serve to better the lives of others. In short, Random Writers will be a collection of bloggers writing to change the world one blog post at a time.
